Jon Jones destroyed Chael Sonnen at UFC 159 on Saturday to retain his UFC light heavyweight title, but he did get injured in the process.
Jones won by first-round TKO — the fight was stopped after Jones pummeled Sonnen with elbows — but the champion broke his big toe.

Jones went to the hospital to be treated and tweeted about the toe:

Jones was upset that the injury would spoil his vacation plans.
“I was supposed to go to Jamaica, but I don’t know if that’s going to happen now,” Jones said, per FOX Sports’ AJ Perez.
Jones was barely able to stand in his post-fight interview. He’ll probably have some time off to heal now after that injury.
Unfortunately, disgusting broken toes are fairly common in MMA. Have you seen this and this? Equally nasty.
