Cristiano Ronaldo cries after Portugal scores in Euro 2016 final

Cristiano Ronaldo crying

Sunday’s Euro 2016 Final between Portugal and France was an emotional day for Cristiano Ronaldo.

The Portuguese star left the match in the first half after suffering a knee injury. Being forced from the game led him to cry tears of disappointment.

Much later on, Ronaldo again saw himself in tears, but this time crying because of joy.

Eder scored in the second half of extra time to give Portugal a 1-0 lead, leaving himself and his teammates celebrating. Ronaldo hobbled over to celebrate with his team, and he was seen emotional and crying.

It must be pretty rewarding for Ronaldo to know his teammates could get it done without him, though he may have some mixed feelings about not being able to be on the pitch for most of the match.
