Matt Adams nudges fan after having foul ball stolen from him, gets middle finger in return (GIF)

Matt Adams learned the hard way Thursday that opposing fans can be an unforgiving bunch. And sometimes they can be downright rude.

The St. Louis Cardinals first baseman tried tracking a foul ball down the line hit by Chris Heisey in the third inning, but a darn Cincinnati Reds fan reached up and snatched the ball before it could fall into his glove. The best part was the way the fan immediately taunted Adams with the glove wave.

But what that camera angle did not catch is that the fan also flipped Adams the bird:

Batista supposedly flipped the bird to disrespectful fan after Royal Rumble

Batista flips fan bird

Batista flipped a disrespectful fan the bird as he was making his way out of the ring following his win at Royal Rumble on Sunday, according to a report.

PW Mania reported the story and says Batista was high-fiving fans after his win when it occurred. Here’s what they wrote:

While “The Animal” was high-fiving fans, making his way to the back, one fan in what was believed to be in a CM Punk t-shirt, flipped up the finger at him. Batista looked at him as he kept high-fiving the fans, and the fan did it again. Batista thought about it, and then gave the finger back to him.

Wrestling Inc says Batista was legitimately upset with the fans because they were booing him after he won the rumble. They say fans booed him and he mockingly did the Daniel Bryan “yes!” chant.

Fans want Bryan to finally win the belt and have been disappointed that he hasn’t yet. When will WWE give it to him? That’s the question many are asking and that’s one reason fans keep tuning in — they want to see when it happens.

Marcus Hall flips double bird to Michigan fans after ejection (GIF)

Marcus-Hall-double-bird

Ohio State offensive lineman Marcus Hall was ejected during a fight that broke out early in the second quarter against Michigan. The Wolverines were leading 21-14 when things got out of hand. Hall was one of three players — two Ohio State and one Michigan — who were ejected. Michigan’s Royce Jenkins-Stone and Ohio State’s Dontre Wilson were the other two players who got the boot.

Hall threw an epic hissy fit on the sidelines after he was tossed, slamming his helmet and kicking benches. Some team staffers were trying to calm him down when he flipped the double bird to Michigan fans as he headed to the locker room.

Oakland Raiders coach Jason Tarver flips referees the bird (GIF)

Oakland Raiders coach Jason Tarver was not happy with the referees after Mike Jenkins was called for a 15-yard facemask penalty in the third quarter against the Pittsburgh Steelers, so he expressed his feelings with a certain piece of flair.

Yes, that’s the team’s defensive coordinator extending his middle finger and flipping the bird to the zebras. You can expect to hear about a certain Raiders coach getting hit with a five-figure fine during the week after that gesture.

James Harrison flips the bird to ‘Hard Knocks’ cameras

The first episode of HBO’s “Hard Knocks: Training Camp with the Cincinnati Bengals” debuted on Tuesday, and one thing stood out immediately: James Harrison is not a fan of the show. Rather, Harrison is not a fan of having a camera follow him around to record everything he does while he’s busy working.

See, Harrison played his entire career with the Pittsburgh Steelers, a traditional organization that would never have the type of nonsense and distraction that comes with turning your football team into a reality TV show. It’s obvious he still holds that mentality, because nobody treated the “Hard Knocks” cameramen with more disdain than him.

Each time Harrison was shown on camera — whether it was doing media interviews or participating in team meetings — he turned his back to the camera. He even went out of his way to flip the bird to the camera.

One time, he walked straight up to the camera recording the team in a meeting room and put up his middle finger (seen below):

NHL.com photobombed by Boston Bruins fan flipping the bird

NHL.com Blackhawks middle finger

The NHL.com homepage had an editorial oversight after the Chicago Blackhawks came back to beat the Boston Bruins 3-2 in Game 6 to win the Stanley Cup on Monday night.

NHL.com had a big banner dedicated to the Blackhawks as the new Cup champions, a headline that said, “All Chi wrote,” and multiple video highlights from the game. But the one thing they missed is that the photo they featured of four Blackhawks players celebrating a goal also featured a Bruins fan flipping the opposing players the bird. The photo was up for a few minutes before being replaced.

At least the Bruins fan didn’t look as crazy as this woman.

Female Miami Heat fan flips Joakim Noah the bird after ejection

Heat fan flips off Joakim Noah

Goodness gracious, woman. Get a hold of yourself. I guess the environment of being at a Miami Heat-Chicago Bulls playoff game made her think it was acceptable to shove her fist within inches of Joakim Noah’s face and flip him the bird.

You wonder why some players go off on fans after games? This is why.

Just after, she celebrated Noah being ejected with this high five:
