New York Yankees rookie Aaron Judge has made a name for himself with the bat, drilling monster homeruns on a nearly nightly basis. But his skills don’t begin and end with unparalleled power at the plate.
Although he appeared a little clunky at first due to his 6-foot-7 frame, it’s turned out that Judge is actually quite capable in right field. Some might even argue that he’s as talented in the field as he is in the batter’s box.
On Sunday, Judge added to that lore with an insane diving catch to rob Tampa Bay Rays slugger Evan Longoria on a liner that was falling away from him. He took a perfect route and managed to chase down a ball that no one in the park thought he stood a chance at reaching.

Judge quickly got the ball back to the infield and the Yankees were able to double-up the Rays, helping to preserve a narrow 3-2 lead.
Although Judge has gone 0-for-3 with three strikeouts against Chris Archer as of this writing, his incredible defense will be the story of the game if New York can hang on for the win.
