Clayton Kershaw hopes to resume throwing soon
Clayton Kershaw is hoping for a return to action before long.
Kershaw was placed on the disabled list Sunday due to biceps tendinitis. An MRI he underwent came back clean, and he says he is hoping to resume throwing soon.
Clayton Kershaw said he hopes to play catch soon. He said Sunday’s MRI, the first of his life on his shoulder, “came back pretty clean.”

The 30-year-old southpaw has prided himself on his durability throughout his career, so you know he’s eager to return, especially with the Los Angeles Dodgers struggling this season. They’ve lost several players to injuries and are hoping the season doesn’t slip away despite their 15-19 record entering play on Tuesday.
Kershaw has pitched pretty well this season but his 1-4 record does not reflect that.
