
The situation surrounding Clayton Kershaw’s troublesome throwing shoulder has officially become concerning.
Kershaw, who has been experiencing soreness in his left shoulder, “didn’t feel great” while playing catch on Monday, according to manager Dave Roberts, and added that Kershaw’s throwing program would again be put on hold indefinitely.

Roberts said he will take a step back, not sure when he will throw again. “It’s not ideal,” Roberts said.

Despite the issues, Kershaw is still not slated for an MRI.
Roberts said Kershaw didn’t feel great coming out of his catch session. Said they’ll take a step back before his next catch session etc. Roberts said, while it’s not ideal, an MRI isn’t scheduled right now.

Kershaw hadn’t been worried about the situation when it flared up last week, and he probably isn’t now, but this isn’t a good sign. His throwing status, essentially, appears to be day-to-day.
