Indians P Carlos Carrasco heading to hospital for X-rays on arm
Carlos Carrasco is heading to the hospital for X-rays on his arm after he was hit by a comebacker on Saturday.
The Cleveland Indians pitcher was hit on the arm by a line drive from Minnesota Twins DH Joe Mauer in the top of the second inning.

Carrasco came out of the game and was relieved by Oliver Perez. He was diagnosed with a right forearm contusion but went to the hospital for X-rays to see if there was a fracture.

Carrasco allowed 4 runs over 1.1 innings. He is 8-4 with a 4.24 ERA this season, though he is on the hook for the loss for Saturday’s game. He was coming off of two great starts before the rough outing.
