Fans are going crazy online after seeing the swing of the son of a famous MLB player. The swing is so iconic that fans knew exactly whose son it was almost instantly.
The video came from Florida State’s game against James Madison on Sunday. It was in that game that the player in question got his first career college baseball hit.

After he rounded first base, you could see the back of his jersey and know the name, just in case you weren’t already sure. That’s Noah Sheffield, who is the son of former 9-time All-Star Gary Sheffield.

Noah Sheffield is a freshman for the Seminoles. He knocked in a run during his pinch hit at-bat on Sunday in FSU’s 10-0 win over James Madison. That was his first and only plate appearance of his college career thus far.
Noah was a Perfect Game and MLB All-American in high school coming out of Jesuit in Tampa, Fla. He’s got one mean swing too, just like his old man.
