The Minnesota Twins are ready to hear your best offers.

Jon Morosi of MLB Network reported Sunday that the Twins are listening to trade proposals on veteran infielder Jorge Polanco (as well as outfielder Max Kepler). Morosi adds that no deal is close but that Minnesota is looking at rotation help after losing the likes of Sonny Gray and Kenta Maeda this offseason.

Polanco, 30, is the slightly more notable name, having made an All-Star team in 2019 and then following that up with a 33-homer season in 2021. He has experience playing shortstop, second base, and third base and provides lineup versatility as a switch-hitter.

The time may be ripe to trade Polanco since he is under contract for $10.5 million next season (with a $12 million club option for 2025). Minnesota also has a young phenom who could be making Polanco more expendable.
