Watch: Ronald Acuña Jr smacks grand slam in Game 3
Game 3 of the NLDS between the Atlanta Braves and Los Angeles Dodgers turned very quickly thanks to a massive hit from Ronald Acuña Jr.
Acuña took a 98 mph 3-1 fastball from Walker Buehler and crushed it to deep left-center to give Atlanta a 5-0 lead in the bottom of the second inning on Sunday.

That was the kind of blow the Braves needed after getting shut out in the first two games of the series.
Buehler is going to be kicking himself for what happened prior to Acuña’s hit. The Dodgers intentionally walked Charlie Culberson with two on and two out to bring up the pitcher, Sean Newcomb. That was a smart move except the strategy didn’t work out because Buehler walked Newcomb — his third walk of the inning — bringing in a run. That brought Acuña to the plate with the bases loaded, and you saw what happened.
Ouch.
