Yankees have reached out to Aroldis Chapman
The New York Yankees are in search of pitching, and have already begun reaching out to some potential free agents – including one familiar name.
Yankees general manager Brian Cashman confirmed Monday that the team has reached out to representatives of Aroldis Chapman to register interest in the closer.

Chapman is set to become a free agent after winning a World Series with the Chicago Cubs. Of course, he went to the Cubs by way of the Yankees, who traded him there in July. It’s not a huge surprise that they’d look at bringing him back, given their reluctance to trade him in the first place.
