40-year-old Andre Miller still has an itch to play for one more year. But the challenge now becomes finding a team willing to give him that opportunity.
According to a report by Marc J. Spears of ESPN on Monday, Miller, who remains unsigned, still wants to continue his NBA career and is hoping to latch on with a playoff-caliber team.

Miller, the 17-year veteran, averaged 3.7 points and 2.2 assists in 11.8 minutes per game last season. He was bought out by the Minnesota Timberwolves in February and signed on with the San Antonio Spurs for the last couple months of the season.
The ex-NBA assists leader is no longer going to do much for a team in terms of on-court production. But he could still be quite useful imparting his wisdom on the nuances and the fundamentals of winning basketball onto younger players. Unfortunately for Miller though, it may take an injury and/or the arrival of 10-day contract season for him to ultimately get the chance.
