Bradley Beal wants to play for Wizards his whole career
Bradley Beal was drafted by the Washington Wizards in 2013 and is now in his seventh season with the team. If he has his way, he’d spend his entire career with the franchise.
Beal, who is in Charlotte after making his second straight All-Star Game, was asked at a fan event on Friday whether the Wizards should blow up their team. Beal said he hopes to be a part of the team his whole career.

The Wizards are in a tough spot. Franchise star John Wall missed part of last season due to injury, most of this season after being bothered by his heel, and will be out most of next season due to Achilles’ tendon surgery. The team traded away Otto Porter and Markieff Morris to get under the luxury tax and seems to be rebuilding. Maybe they will keep Beal, but they do seem willing to part ways with him.
