Knicks guard Sasha Vujacic hasn’t exactly been Slovenian Mother Teresa over the course of his NBA career. The 31-year-old sharpshooter has had more than his fair share of clashes over the years, beefing with everyone from Chris Paul and Rafer Alston to fellow countryman Goran Dragic and even an intrasquad practice spat with the Black Mamba himself. Now, Carmelo Anthony wants to remind us that he too is a member of that esteemed list.
On Sunday, the eight-time All-Star admitted to Ian Begley of ESPN New York that he loathed Vujacic before the two became teammates this summer.
Carmelo says Vujacic can be a "big plus" for NYK. He used to feel differently about him: "I hated Sasha. We got into it a couple times."

Melo, of course, went full Renaldo Balkman on “The Machine” back in 2007 when he was on the Nuggets and Vujacic was on the Lakers.
With team president Phil Jackson confident that the addition of Vujacic helps with the implementation of the triangle, perhaps he’s banking on some more Zen wisdom in hoping that the friendly aggression and the healthy hostility between Vujacic and Anthony will be beneficial for the Knicks next season.
