Isaiah Canaan left Wednesday night’s Phoenix Suns-Dallas Mavericks game on a stretcher after suffering a bad leg injury.
Canaan was driving to the basket in transition just before the end of the first quarter. He went up and was met by a defender and ended up falling to the ground, with his left leg being caught awkwardly underneath him. It seemed clear that Canaan had broken some bone in his left leg. He was quickly reported to have a left ankle fracture.
