NBA could play in both Las Vegas and Disney World
There has been talk that the NBA could play in Las Vegas or Disney World upon resuming the season. What about playing in both locations? That seems like a possibility.
NBA Commissioner Adam Silver spoke with the league’s players on a conference call Friday and shared information and different options for how the season would resume. According to Yahoo’s Chris Haynes, Silver said that both Las Vegas and Disney World in Orlando could be options for playing. Las Vegas would be a hub for Western Conference teams, and Orlando would be a hub for Eastern Conference play.

Teams are starting to re-open their practice facilities to have players gear up for a resumption of the season. But the league does not need to immediately make a decision on whether they will resume the season.
Sources: On call with players today, Adam Silver told NBPA membership: 1) "It would be safer to be in a single location, or two locations, to start." 2) That the NBA doesn't have to make a decision on re-starting in season in May, nor does it have to decide right away in June.

While regular season games might be held in two locations, it’s possible that postseason games could be held at just one location. Three-game series have been mentioned as possibilities, but the league would like to have seven-game series.
Sources: Silver told players that he still hoped that the playoffs would include a 7-game series in every round. He told players that those series could move faster without the need for travel, staying in a single site. Orlando and Vegas still tops.

The situation surrounding the league is so fluid that we won’t have answers on what will happen for a while. Plus, things could always change. But at least we have a better idea of what might happen if/when the season resumes.
