Russell Wilson was among those who paid tribute to Kobe Bryant at Super Bowl LIV on Sunday.
Wilson appeared as a guest on ESPN’s “Sunday NFL Countdown” leading up to the big game, and he showed up wearing a No. 8 Bryant jersey.

Wilson was also one of several athletes who spoke with ESPN for a feature piece about Bryant’s career.
“There’s only a few people in the world in sports that impact and influence the game the way that Kobe has,” Wilson said. “Despite him being gone, he hasn’t left us.”
Multiple Los Angeles Lakers players have gotten tattoos to honor Kobe, and we have seen countless other tributes in the week since Bryant, his 13-year-old Gianna daughter, and seven others died in a helicopter crash. When you see an NFL quarterback wearing Kobe’s jersey during the Super Bowl pregame show, it gives you an idea of just how widespread Kobe’s impact was.
