Steph Curry limps to locker room after suffering ankle injury
Steph Curry left Sunday’s game against the Los Angeles Clippers early after suffering an ankle injury.
The Golden State Warriors star tried to set a back screen for his teammate, Moses Moody, with their team trailing 95-85 early in the fourth quarter. But Curry twisted his left ankle as he tried to plant his foot for the pick. Curry hobbled out of bounds and limped to the Chase Center locker room during the next dead ball.

The two-time NBA MVP had already hurt his ankle earlier in the contest. Curry had previously limped off the floor in the third quarter after twisting his ankle but had remained on the bench.

With Curry unable to finish the contest, the Warriors fell to the Clippers 112-104.
Despite the concerning scene, Warriors head coach Steve Kerr alleviated any concerns during his postgame press conference. Kerr said that Curry is set to undergo an MRI but described the injury as “mild” and “moderate.”
