Kawhi Leonard received a frosty reception in his return to the city where he spent the first seven seasons of his NBA career.
Leonard made his much anticipated return to San Antonio on Thursday as the Toronto Raptors were in town to face the Spurs. When he was introduced prior to the game, Leonard was showered with boos while teammate (and former Spur) Danny Green was cheered.

With Leonard essentially checking out on the Spurs last season, there was little doubt fans would let him have it and they did just that. Greg Popovich hoped Leonard would be treated with respect in his return. It was obvious from the outset that probably wasn’t going to be the case.
