Boxer Javier Fortuna stretchered away after falling out of ring
Boxer Javier Fortuna was taken away on a stretcher after falling out of the ring during his fight on Saturday night.
Fortuna was facing Adrian Granados at the Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas and the two were up against the ropes late in the fourth round. Granados pushed Fortuna, who fell through the ropes.

There were questions from the Showtime announcers about whether or not Fortuna had hit his head. The 28-year-old lightweight was treated with caution and placed into a neck brace. He was taken away in a stretcher.
Showtime’s announcers also questioned whether Fortuna was legitimately hurt or whether there were some shenanigans.
The fight was stopped with 10 seconds remaining in the fourth round, meaning it wasn’t an official fight by Texas rules. It ended up being a no contest.
