College Basketball, Brad Davison

Wisconsin’s Brad Davison scored 30 after dislocating shoulder, popping it back in

Tough times never last, but Brad Davison does.

Davison, a freshman guard for the Wisconsin Badgers, offered perhaps the grittiest display of the college basketball season on Sunday. In the second half of a game against No. 2-ranked Michigan State, the 18-year-old dislocated his shoulder. He then proceeded to pop it back in and re-enter the contest after missing under 25 seconds of gameplay. Even more remarkable is that Davison immediately nailed an off-the-dribble jumper on his first possession back.

Care to be wowed even further? Davison finished the contest with a career-high 30 points, rattling off 16 of those after the dislocation. While the Badgers ultimately fell to the Spartans 68-63 (which is not too shabby for a sub-.500 squad facing one of the elite teams in the nation), Davison definitely showed off some serious guts in a manner that is usually reserved for the Olympics.
