Coach K shares injury update on Zion Williamson’s knee
Coach K shared some positive injury news on Zion Williamson following Duke’s 88-72 loss at home to North Carolina on Wednesday night.
The Duke head coach said that Williamson has a mild knee sprain and that he is stable.
Coach K: “We’re very concerned about Zion. It’s a mild knee sprain. We will know about length of time tomorrow. It’s stable. Obviously it has an impact. You lose the NPOY on the 1st play.” pic.twitter.com/SCq6DBjnkJ

For starters, that’s really good news for those who were worried about Williamson’s health. Secondly, it also means Williamson might be able to return this season.
“Hopefully he’ll be back playing at some time in the near future,” Mike Krzyzewski said.
Duke showed just how vulnerable they are without Williamson. On a team full of top recruits, he’s been the best player by far. He’s averaging 22.4 points, 9.2 rebounds, 1.9 blocks and 2.3 steals per game and is in line to becoming the top overall pick in the draft.
