USC’s Andy Enfield hires father of top recruits as assistant
Andy Enfield appears to be making a very strategic hire for his coaching staff.
Enfield is hiring the father of two top prospects to his USC Trojans staff, according to 247 Sports’ Evan Daniels. Daniels says Enfield is hiring Eric Mobley, who is the father of Isaiah and Evan Mobley.

Isaiah Mobley is 247 Sports’ No. 22 player in 2019, while Evan Mobley is their No. 4 ranked player in 2020. Evan is a 6-foot-10 big man, while Isaiah is 6-foot-9 and a little more filled out at 220 pounds compared to 200 for his brother. Both play at Rancho Christian in Temecula, Calif.
247 Sports indicated that the brothers had the strongest interest in USC, UCLA and Stanford among the schools recruiting them. This hiring would appear to make USC a lock to land the brothers unless something changes.
