Arkansas Razorbacks will enter field through hog pen for home opener
The first home game of the new college football season is always exciting for the host school. Players and coaches are pumped to take the field in front of their loyal supporters. Optimism is high as fans get their initial up close look at their favorite team in a game that matters. And, of course, there is the emotional stadium entrance.
Some stadium entrances in college football are iconic.
Ralphie leads the Colorado Buffaloes onto the field. Auburn’s War Eagle is released prior to the Tigers entering. Chief Osceola charges into Doak Campbell on Renegade prior to Florida State home games. The Clemson Tigers touch Howard’s Rock and run down The Hill into Death Valley.
On Saturday, when the Arkansas Razorbacks take the field at Frank Broyles Field for their game against Nicholls State, they will do so through a hog pen.
Gotta go big for the home opener, right?
