Oklahoma’s Sooner Schooner mascot flips over in brutal mishap
Oklahoma got off to another fantastic start in its game against West Virginia on Saturday, but unfortunately the Sooners mascot did not have the same type of success.
The Sooner Schooner, which is the horse-drawn wagon that is the official mascot of the Oklahoma football team, had a terrifying accident during the first half. The carriage flipped, sending those riding in it flying onto the field.

At least one person appeared to need assistance getting back to the locker room, so we can only hope there were no serious injuries. Unfortunately, this is not the first time we have seen a frightening incident like that when horses are mascots.
