Actor James Van Der Beek sent the tweet of the day on Sunday.
The Green Bay Packers started backup Seneca Wallace at quarterback because Aaron Rodgers has a shoulder injury. But Wallace got hurt in the first quarter of Sunday’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles, leading third-string QB Scott Tolzien to enter the game. That’s when Van Der Beek sent his awesome tweet:
“I’m not saying the #Packers are desperate, but they just called to ask if I could actually play quarterback,” Van Der Beek wrote in a post on Nov. 10, 2013.
I dunno, Jonathan Moxon probably would look pretty good in the green and yellow. I mean if Tolzien got hurt, the Packers’ emergency quarterbacks are Jordy Nelson and fullback John Kuhn. Yeah, I think I’d take Moxon in that case.
