Jerry Jeudy is widely considered to be the best receiver available in the 2020 NFL Draft, but some rumors about the former Alabama star’s health have suddenly led to questions about him falling down the board. According to Jeudy’s agent, any concerns of that nature are completely bogus.
Natalie Egenolf of 97.5 The Fanatic said on Tuesday that a source told her Jeudy’s draft stock is tumbling over knee issues that have not been disclosed. Jeudy hasn’t had any known significant knee issues since he underwent surgery for a meniscus injury in 2018, but Egenolf’s report meshed with something ESPN’s Adam Schefter said during an appearance on 97.5 The Fanatic.
“Let’s just say, it’s a lingering knee issue” – @AdamSchefter on the Jerry Jeudy knee injury

Jeudy’s agent, Chris Cabott, insists his client is perfectly healthy heading into the draft. Cabott responded on Twitter to several of the reports about Jeudy and said in a statement that the information is being leaked by a team that is hoping the receiver falls to them in the first round.

That would not be hard to believe. Unless there’s some sort of new injury, Jeudy has not appeared to show any ill effects from the knee issue he had in 2018. He caught 77 passes for 1,163 yards last year and scored 10 touchdowns. Jeudy had 24 total touchdown receptions between 2018 and 2019 and was one of the most explosive players in college football.
We already know of one team that is interested in trading up in the first round for Jeudy, and it seems doubtful that the reports about alleged knee issues are going to have a huge impact.
