Wide receiver Jordan Leggett is offering Rob Gronkowski his jersey number, but there is a catch.
Gronk was traded to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Tuesday for a fourth-round pick. Gronk wore jersey number 87 throughout his career with the New England Patriots. But that number is assigned to Leggett, who addressed the matter over Twitter Tuesday.
Hey @RobGronkowski I’ll give you #87 for 1 million.

$1 million would be a steep price, but it’s clear Leggett was joking. Maybe instead of $1 million, Gronk can invite Leggett on one of his famous cruises.
Leggett was a fifth-round pick by the Jets in 2017 and has 14 career catches. He probably owes Gronk the jersey number out of respect to the veteran.
