Report: Le’Veon Bell has not told Steelers yet he will report
Le’Veon Bell may have plans to report to the Pittsburgh Steelers this week, but he has not told the team that, according to a report.
The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette’s Gerry Dulac reported on Sunday that the team has not heard from Bell yet about the running rejoining the team.
Steelers have not heard from Le'Veon Bell that he might report this week, per team source.

Bell has been holding out and refused to sign his franchise tender all season as part of a strategy to limit his use ahead of his free agency. There has been uncertainty the last few months over when Bell would report to the team. We got our first clue when ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler reported that Bell would report to the team during their Week 7 bye.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter also reported on Sunday that Bell has not had any contact with Steelers officials or players.
If Bell does report to the team and sign his franchise tender, Pittsburgh may choose to employ a running back-by-committee approach.
