New Orleans road sign reads ‘We Were Robbed’ after Saints’ loss
The city of New Orleans has had its say on the ending of Sunday’s NFC Championship game.
Drivers crossing the Pontchartrain Causeway in New Orleans were greeted with a pre-programmed message on one of the traffic alert signs posted above the road that simply read “We Were Robbed.”

Hard to argue with that. Sean Payton said after the game the league office had told him they blew the call, and the pivotal moment late in the fourth quarter was pass interference by any definition of the rule. Payton said the Saints would never get over this, and it’s safe to say the city and its fans won’t be forgetting about it anytime soon either.
