Rams VP hilariously skips call from Aaron Donald’s agent during luncheon
Los Angeles Rams fans are looking for any sign that an Aaron Donald contract extension is progressing, so it’s no surprise that a rather minor event on Wednesday raised some eyebrows.
Rams vice president and COO Kevin Demoff was speaking at a charity luncheon Wednesday afternoon when he got a phone call from a very important person.
Kevin Demoff, speaking right now at a charity luncheon, just said his phone was buzzing in his pocket: “No joke, it’s Aaron Donald’s agent. I wish I could make that up.” Demoff didn’t answer.

We’re guessing if it actually had been a hugely important call, Demoff would have taken it. It didn’t stop Sam Farmer of the Los Angeles Times from speculating that Demoff getting the call instead of general manager Les Snead could be a good sign.
Perhaps noteworthy that it was Kevin Demoff’s phone that was ringing from Aaron Donald’s agent, and not Les Snead’s phone. Reading tea leaves, but could mean a stage is completed.

It sounds like the Rams and Donald are getting close. Not close enough that Demoff would interrupt his speaking engagement to pick up the phone, but still close.
