
Robert Griffin III expects to be the quarterback of the Washington Redskins for many years to come. There are legitimate concerns about his ability to stay healthy, but RG3 signed a a four-year, $21 million rookie contract last year that is fully guaranteed. It’s safe to say the man can afford a nice home.
According to the Washington Business Journal, the 23-year-old went out and bought himself one. Griffin has reportedly purchased a $2.5 million luxury home in the prestigious Creighton Farms golf course community, which is home to one of Jack Nicklaus’ courses. The property was recently appraised at $1.8 million, so RG3 must have really liked it.
The home was built in 2010 and includes just under 9,000 square feet with five bathrooms, six bathrooms, a wet bar and an elevator. Not bad for a starter home. Here are some more photos of RG3’s new house from Zillow.com:
