If Shedeur Sanders falls in the NFL Draft, he will not have to endure it from the green room in Green Bay.
The NFL released the list of players that have confirmed their attendance for the first round of the NFL Draft on April 24. Cam Ward, Jalen Milroe, and Jaxson Dart will all be there, but Sanders’ name was notably absent from the list.

It is an intriguing decision from Sanders, whose draft status remains highly uncertain. He could go as high as No. 3 overall, but other evaluators suggest he might not even be worthy of a first-round pick.
Some might view Sanders’ decision as an attempt to avoid the potential of awkward green room shots if he falls in the draft. There are certainly some cautionary tales for this fate in years past.
More realistically, Sanders likely chose to instead watch the draft at home with his family, though this has not been confirmed. Sanders would not be the first top prospect to go that route, either.
For much of the pre-draft process, Sanders has been viewed as the likely second quarterback off the board. That seems less certain now, regardless of his decision on attending the draft.
