DeCastro, 26, was a Pro Bowler and a First Team All-Pro selection in 2015. He has started all 16 games for the Steelers in back-to-back seasons and was the team’s first-round draft pick back in 2012.
The deal now ties DeCastro with Kyle Long of the Chicago Bears as the second-highest paid guard in the NFL in terms of average annual value, per Spotrac. It also means that DeCastro will be spending a lot more time getting familiar with his quarterback, Ben Roethlisberger.
