Todd Gurley rips Rams’ ‘middle school offense’
The Los Angeles Rams were embarrassed at home once again, and their players were not happy about it. Perhaps none had as harsh of a criticism for the team as running back Todd Gurley.
Gurley, who rushed for 61 yards and a touchdown in Sunday’s 42-14 loss to Atlanta, not only ripped his team’s effort, but he also compared the offense to that of a middle school team.
"It looked like a middle school offense out there," Todd Gurley says about the Rams.

Todd Gurley said he does not think everyone has been showing up to play, that people are going through the motions.

Gurley was asked about the coaching but put the loss on the players. Here’s a transcription of his comments after the game:

The Rams are now 4-9 and have lost four in a row, including eight of their last nine games. What’s worse is that rookie No. 1 pick Jared Goff has taken a step back and threw for two interceptions and no touchdowns on Sunday. The team has lost all four games he’s started.
The Rams, which were hoping to make a good impression on their new fan base in Los Angeles, have only scored four offensive touchdowns at home this season. Three were scored by Gurley.
Hate to say it, but we’ve seen plenty of middle school offenses that were more exciting to watch.
