We are beginning to get more information about a bizarre incident allegedly involving Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert that took place Friday.
Goedert was hospitalized briefly after being punched at a South Dakota restaurant. New footage shared online from what appears to be a security cameraessentially backs the story that Goedert was punched out of nowhere without any provocation.

It’s clear that there was some sort of altercation taking place before the punch, but Goedert did not look heavily involved. If anything, he seemed to be trying to defuse the situation before being hit and knocked to the ground.
We still know very little about the circumstances of this, or why it happened to the 25-year-old tight end. We do know Goedert is okay, which is the most important part.
