Let The Ben Roethlisberger Photo Frenzy Begin…or Should I Say Continue?

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is releasing more than 50 tapes and DVDs today from the investigation of the Ben Roethlisberger sexual assault incident.  Although Roethlisberger was able to escape criminal charges, he has been suspended for six games by NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell.  In addition to his suspension and a pretty significant hit to his reputation, Big Ben is also going to have to deal with a ton of heckling from the media.  Eminem has already let him hear it in one of his new songs, and pictures from the GBI’s release are starting to pop around the internet.

The Smoking Gun, who has covered the Roethlisberger fiasco extensively the entire way, has a bunch of the photos already — including one of “the bathroom.”  Big Ben’s facial expression in some of the others makes them worth looking at.  Here are some of the photos used during the Ben Roethlisberger sexual assault investigation, courtesy of The Smoking Gun:

I’m sure there will be plenty more entertainment to come as the material from the tapes and DVDs continues to surface.  Doesn’t an NFL star have better places to be hanging out?  Is it just me or does this place look a little run down?  The Smoking Gun has a few more of Ben and a few of teammate Willie Colon as well.  I’ll try to stay on top of it and update if anything good comes up.

UPDATE: TMZ has some good videos from the night of the incident. One is of Roethlisberger taking a shot and dancing to Miley Cyrus’ Party in the U.S.A. (hopefully that’s okay with Cameron Maybin) and the other is an interview with his accuser, in which she tells the investigator that Big Ben walked over to her “with his penis already out of his pants.”
