The son of legendary WWE announcer Jerry “The King” Lawler is reportedly on life support after attempting to commit suicide.

According to a report from TMZ, 46-year-old Brian Lawler attempted to commit suicide by hanging himself inside his jail cell on Saturday night. He had been in jail after allegedly leading police on a chase earlier this month and being arrested for driving while under the influence.

Lawler, who wrestled professionally and was known as “Grandmaster Sexay,” was reportedly on life support as of Sunday, but there were no updates about his condition.

Jerry Lawler has had a number of family issues over the years, one of which resulted in the WWE Hall of Famer being suspended indefinitely.
