Jonathan Papelbon does his best Terry Francona impersonation (Video)

Last week, Toronto catcher J.P. Arencibia absolutely nailed it with a Tim Kurkijan impression while talking to Terry Francona at Blue Jays camp. Naturally, the impersonation embarrassed Kurkijan since it was so spot-on. As a way of getting Francona back for being a part of the little skit, Kurkijan decided to have someone who knows Terry very well imitate the former Red Sox manager on Friday. What better person to do it than former Sox closer Jonathan Papelbon?

As you can see from the video above, Papelbon did a fairly decent job. He’s no Arencibia, but those mannerisms definitely fit Francona — especially the head rubbing. For those of you who are unfamiliar with Boston, Pap is referring to bench coaches Demarlo Hale and Brad Mills. Apparently Terry leaned on them heavily for advice. There you go, Sox fans — two more people to blame for last year’s disaster.
