Kevin Durant on flagrant for altercation: That’s why league is ‘soft’

Kevin Durant Warriors

Kevin Durant had a busy evening in Game 3 against the Utah Jazz on Saturday night.

Not only did KD score 38 points, but he also trash talked with the mascot, an opposing fan, and had an altercation with Rudy Gobert.

With just over a minute left in the game, Durant and Gobert got into it under the basket. KD was called for a flagrant foul for shoving the Jazz center.

After the game, Durant was asked about the incident and said the refs calling a flagrant foul for something so insignificant is why people call the league “soft.”

Like Durant said, the league calls that sort of thing because they’re trying to cut it out of the game. They don’t want fights overshadowing the play on the court.

The Warriors won the game 102-91 and lead the series 3-0. They have yet to lose in this postseason.
