Lakers’ Kuzma thanks The Rock for helping him bulk up

If you want to learn the best way to put on muscle, there can’t be many people who are better to ask than Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. From the way it sounds, it worked for Los Angeles Lakers forward Kyle Kuzma.

Kuzma, the No. 27 overall pick in last year’s draft, had an outstanding rookie season. He averaged 16.1 points and 6.3 rebounds per game and looks to be a steal where the Lakers drafted him, but the 22-year-old felt he needed to get bigger and stronger before next year. That’s where The Rock came in.

And just in case you thought Kuzma was being sarcastic, The Rock returned the shout-out.

Since the Lakers reportedly asked Kuzma to tone down his rap battle war with teammate Lonzo Ball, he should have even more time to work on his gains going forward. As long as he sticks with The Rock, how can he go wrong?
