Nike made ‘The Ring Maker’ commercial to celebrate LeBron’s first title (Video)

LeBron James and the Miami Heat weren’t the only winners on Thursday night. Nike cashed in big, too.

The swoosh already had a commercial prepared for when James finally won his first ring. They released it on Thursday night after the Heat beat the Thunder in the NBA Finals.

The commercial is called “The Ring Maker,” and it depicts a jeweler crafting a championship ring for LeBron James. The crafting begins when LeBron is a high schooler, and it’s finally completed on the night James finally wins a title. It’s clear that this commercial wanted to emphasize James’ path to finally becoming a champion, and that Nike was there with him along the way.

LeBron James is one of Nike’s most recognizable athletes in the world, and he already has his own shoe line and clothing line through them. He just lacked the validation of being a champion. Now that he’s finally won his first ring, his marketing appeal should skyrocket. Nike is undoubtedly ready for a boost. This was a big night for them.

No Wonder Nike had it ready everyone who knows anything about the NBA knows and saw that Mr. Stern fixed the series for the Heat but LaBron better enjoy it because its his last couldnt do it on his own and will go down in history as one of the greatest COULD HAVE BEENS

in the wise yet often zany words of ESPN’s Skip Bayless, “Are You Kidding Me??!!”

Who in the NBA has ever “done it on their own”?  I get it, you’re either a Cleveland fan or someone who didn’t like “The Decision”.  It was 2 years ago now, get over it!  The Heat won as a team, game 5 was simply a “what could have been” if everyone else on that team had played to their potential.  Durant will get his soon, if Westbrook ever learns to pass the ball.

I guess Stern fixed the seedings, the entire run of teams, the Lakers collapse, Boston’s loss, San Antonio’s winning streak into the playoffs and eventual ouster, or what about Oklahoma’s move from Seattle to their choice as favorites to win it all before the season even began to being immediately known as a finals contender–THE ONLY THING THAT’S FIXED IS HOW STERN PUT THE HALT ON THAT ROCKETS SELECTION WHICH WOULDN’T HAVE DONE NADA FOR THAT COLLAPSING JOKE OF A ORGANIZATION DARRELL MOREY, AND LES ALEXANDER IS PLAYING RUSSIAN ROULETTE WITH.. BAD CALLS ON BOTH SIDES HAVE MARRED THE GAME FOR SO LONG AND WE KNOW FROM INVESTIGATIONS THAT OFFICIALS HAVE BEEN CONTROLLING OUTCOMES BUT NO ONE’S THAT BLATANT–OTHERWISE THE GREATS LIKE MAGIC, DUNCAN, BYRD,TOMJANOVICH, POPOVICH, DOC RIVERS OR EVEN PHIL JACKSON WOULD BE SHARING THOSE SENTIMENTS.  HATING AINT GOOD. LEBRON EARNED MVP OF THE LEAGUE AND THE HEAT EARNED THAT RING…AND SHOULD OF HAD IT LAST YEAR!

young man James is the best you will see for the next 20 years, you better get use to it or get diagnosed with “hypertension”……

UMM GAME 2 vs Celtics was totally rigged…one more win and it was Celtics Thunder in the finals so you sir are an idiot. Not to mention Game 2 against the Thunder and i can go on and on and on. All the heat did was hurt the backs of the refs they were carried on throughout the finals.

Step away from the Kool-aid.  I once drank from the same kool-aid when I thought the NBA was fixing the play-offs to keep the Jazz out of the finals then the Jazz went two times in a row.  I can claim Jordan pushed off in game six but the Jazz had the lead in all six games of those finals and failed to close them out.  they had their shot and failedjust like OK failed.  they will have their chnay work hard and learn to have a killer instict like the Bulls of old and this year’s Heat.  Also look at coach Brooks who failed to make any meaningful adjustments during the entire searies.  OKC has to look in the mirror before they look at others for reasons they lost the finals

I agree with all those who said that Miami should have won & did, they earned it, after all OKC is where Miami was last year this time, got beat by a team that had more experience and hunger than them. So please stop saying about the series being rig or anything, this was a player and a team who just wanted it more than the other and was just ready for anything came their way! And won’t doubt they’ll be back for the finals next year also…

Gotta love the editing … especially the “I am taking MY talents to south Beach” and the infamous “People can go on living their problematic lives while i live mine” …I am happy for Shane Battier, Juwan Howard and the other Heat players … But until Lebron mans up and owns that he quit on his teammates in the 2010 Confrence Finals so he could take his talents to South Beach … He will always be a second class champion … just like Mr 1.7 (Scottie Pippen).

While I am pleased that Nike has made the comercial for LeBron and his first championship, I am also concerned. Concerned that it looks like they used an ape to depict the likeness of LeBron. If I am wrong, forgive me but it sure looks like that to me. Why Nike?
