Russell Westbrook can throw it down with the best of them. He’s a point guard, but he’s a big one. Dunking isn’t rare for the Oklahoma City star. For that reason, it is extremely difficult to explain the above reaction. Perhaps Russell was overly excited about throwing down a two-handed jam in the All-Star game? Or maybe he was pumped up that Cp3 fed him a sweet pass and he got to finish?
When you think about how boring the Dunk Contest has become, you have to wonder if guys like Westbrook should get involved. Even if his dunks aren’t spectacular, he can mix in a few of these spaz-out mini celebrations after slamming it home. It would be worth the price of admission just to laugh at him.
