Tim Duncan blocks Amir Johnson, makes him look foolish with dribble (Video)
Tim Duncan had a great sequence in the third quarter of Monday’s San Antonio Spurs-Toronto Raptors game where he showed his array of skills by blocking an Amir Johnson shot and then making the Raptors forward look foolish on the dribble.
After blocking Johnson’s shot, Duncan brought the ball up the court and went between his legs to avoid a steal from Johnson, who in turn hit the deck. Duncan didn’t have his best offensive game — he went 4-of-15 for 9 points — but he did have 12 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 blocks in the 112-99 win. Look at these handles:
This wasn’t quite as pretty as Duncan fooling DeAndre Jordan with the Dream Shake, but it was pretty sweet. His point guard skills also aren’t bad for a forward. I’d like to see him in a dribbling competition with Blake Griffin.
