		<description>The NBA will say Duncan wasn't out there because of an altercation, and not suspend him.

They will be wrong.  They have totally butchered this thing, and have sent the message which you wrote about, that Robert Horry was a genius.  Pretty soon, every NBA team will have a designated thug, who will hit Kobe, D Wade or Gilbert in the hopes of getting their teammates to come off the bench and onto the floor.

Stern was a fool for not seeing the implications of his decision, and the rule will be changed during the offseason, but the fans will be penalized by losing out on seeing maybe the two best NBA teams at or near full strength.</description>
