Jerry Seinfeld, Larry David, Jason Alexander filming at Tom’s Restaurant

Tom's Restaurant

Excuse me for a second while I try to contain my excitement, because I’m pretty stoked about this development.

Jerry Seinfeld, Jason Alexander and Larry David were at Tom’s Restaurant in New York — the restaurant called Monk’s in “Seinfeld” — filming on Monday. Reports have said they were either filming a Super Bowl commercial or episode for Jerry’s “Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee” web show.

If they are filming for the Super Bowl, isn’t it a little late for that? I mean the Super Bowl is in less than three weeks.

I don’t know. There is a big part of me that secretly hopes Jerry and LD are working on a project that will blow everyone’s mind. Maybe a movie. Or even better — a TV show. Dammit I miss them. I need another “Clear History.” Or give me a season of Curb. For goodness sake, I just want a TV camera following Jerry and LD around for like five minutes showing me what they’re talking about. That’s all I ask for. Is that too much?

Larry David yawning is for some reason a hilarious GIF

Larry-David-yawnThose of you who are loyal LBS readers have probably picked up on the fact that LB and Del are two of the biggest fans Larry David has. We love “Seinfeld” and are borderline obsessed with his work in “Curb Your Enthusiasm.” If you’re not a huge LD fan, you might not get why the GIF of him yawning at the New York Knicks game on Monday night is so mesmerizing.

Cameras caught David at the perfect moment, with 2.5 seconds remaining in overtime and New York leading 98-96. Fortunately for Larry, the Knicks held onto the lead and the Suns were unable to force a second overtime. Our man LD clearly couldn’t have taken another five minutes of basketball. It looked like he was ready to call it a night. Either that or he had something stuck in his throat again.

Rihanna makes Eagles LB Mychal Kendricks her Man Crush Monday

Rihanna

Mychael Kendricks’ career is looking up. The Philadelphia Eagles linebacker not only had a great season, but he is also the object of affection for singer Rihanna.

There’s a game on Instagram where women can list their “Man Crush” on Mondays by posting a photo of a guy and tagging it #MCM for “Man Crush Monday.” The same goes for guys with #WCW on “Woman Crush Wednesday.”

On Monday, Rihanna listed Kendricks, a second-year linebacker from Cal, as her “Man Crush Monday.”

Charles Barkley introduces the world to ‘Leroy Jetson’ the black Jetson (Video)

Oh. My. God.

“Inside the NBA” on TNT regularly puts out some of the best sports programming each week, but this impromptu segment where Charles Barkley introduced the world to “Leroy Jetson” might have been the best segment ever on the show.

Chuck was talking about how easy the NBA is these days and said on Thursday’s show that if he were in the NBA today, he’d be so revered that he’d arrive to games in a spaceship like one of the Jetsons. Fortunately for us, Barkley mistakenly said “Leroy” Jetson instead of son “Elroy,” before quickly correcting himself. His brief blunder resulted in a truly hilarious meme for the crew.

Shaq just totally ran with the whole “Leroy” Jetson thing. He called Leroy the black Jetson, said Leroy’s wife was “Juanita” and that Leroy Jetson has dubs on his whip.

The whole thing had me dying. I was just in tears watching the segment.

But was also awesome is how TNT played the theme song from the Jetsons during the segment and began speaking in that cadence. They also did their typical fantastic Photoshop job and created an image of how “Leroy” Jetson would look:

Leroy Jetson

Leroy Jetson, man. They should give him his own spinoff show.

This is just the latest example of why “Inside the NBA” is the best sports show on TV and often more entertaining than the actual games on the network.

Ronda Rousey featured in ‘The Expendables 3′ teaser trailer (Video)

Over the summer, news surfaced that Ronda Rousey would be joining the star-studded cast of “The Expendables 3.” On Thursday, a teaser trailer was released that made it official.

Those of you who thought it might be too good to be true can now rest assured knowing that the bantamweight champion will indeed be starring alongside Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jason Statham, Mel Gibson, Randy Couture and a number of other actors and former fighters that take bad-assery to a new level. Given some of the stories we have heard about Rousey in the past, she should fit in just fine.

Kanye West at Chicago concert: We should have never let Michael Jordan play for the Wizards

Kanye WestIf nothing else, Kanye West is at least very aware of his surroundings.

Yeezy performed at the United Center in Chicago on Wednesday night, and during his show, he decided to rap about the most famous athlete to ever play inside the building. Kanye came up with a song he sung in autotune that seemed to be called, “We should have never let Michael Jordan play for the Wizards.”

There is some NSFW language — as you could imagine from Yeezy — but the song is pretty awesome.

“I believe I can fly and I wanted to be just like Mike,” Kanye says, which are lyrics most can agree with.

The only problem with Kanye’s song is that it might not exactly be rooted in facts. I mean who could tell Michael Jordan what he could or couldn’t do? The guy became a part owner of the Wizards and then decided to play for them. Nobody could tell 45 what he was or wasn’t going to do. Other than that, love the song, Yeezy.
