ESPN could not get enough of a sleeping fan at the College World Series on Wednesday.
During the network’s telecast of an elimination game between Oregon State and North Carolina, ESPN continually showed a fan who was sleeping in the stands at TD Ameritrade Park in Omaha. They were in amazement that a fan could be sleeping through a good game.
At one point, they even sent Laura Rutledge to report from a row away.

The fan, Tim, later woke up. Rutledge reported that he was tired and had a long day at the ballpark; Arkansas and Texas Tech had played earlier. It’s not like this is the first time we’ve seen such a thing.
