And Now for Playboy Playmates Tebowing, Because Why Not? (Pictures)

Just when we thought Tebowmania may be getting out of hand, and the whole Tebowing thing was becoming overplayed, a particular collection of women rescued the phenomenon.  Being from Boston, I am a diehard Patriots fan.  With an extremely important match-up between the Pats and Tim Tebow’s Denver Broncos looming, it would take something drastic for me to become a Tebow fan or even warm up to the idea of people talking about him around the clock.

I’ll admit I was impressed when the word Tebowing became recognized as an official part of the English language, but it still wasn’t enough.  None of the Tebowing instances I have seen to this point such as this one, this one, or this one have been able to overwhelm me.  After taking a look at the pictures that Buzzfeed shared on Thursday, I’m officially intrigued.  Check out these fantastic pictures of Playboy Playmates Tebowing and keep this fun question in mind: Is Tebowing to the left or Tebowing to the right hotter?

As a football player he is good, as a christian, he is just another poser. “And when you pray, do no be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by others…”

  • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_E6SNUAFWAQK3UCF4VPAXOCX4SU Mike Peddycord

Jesus said that because the Pharisees only prayed in public.  But, Jesus prayed in public as and private and encouraged the disciples to pray in private as well.  Tim Tebow I am sure also prays in private.  Good Christians are not afraid to pray in public, but will pray often in private.

  • http://twitter.com/laclark83 Ashley Clark

it also says that they will be rewarded as well though if you would have gone on a little bit further, so he is not a poser, which actually means somthing entirely different.. nothing wrong with it though, its not like he is wanting people to be looking at him and saying oh look everyone he is prayin since he knows most people mock him for it.. There is no difference than him doing that and another one knealing down in the endzone doing the father son holy spirit hand thing.

  • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_5WIXSIQZV5754ZYH5NSSEXXPNE t

Jesus did not pray in public or he’d be a hypocrite. He always went away and prayed in private.   I can’t believe how ignorant people are about their own religion that they profess to be.

Upatsix says “DC4LIFE73, Go back to what ever Country you came from, take what ever beliefs you have with you.”
So anybody who thinks this Tebowing is overplayed and just a little ridiculous is not “American”? I think instead of Tebowing I’ll stand in front of you and do some Tebagging…. Upatsixinchesinyourface….

    They will call it Teblowing.

Mike is correct and Jesus did pray in public.  Just one example was prior to raising Lazarus from the dead, he prayed aloud in front of all to His Father.

This is America the home of the free, if the media didn’t make such a big thing of it we wouldn’t be discussing this whole thing, you don’t have to watch, you don’t have to read,  and you don’t have to listen to it. I would like to know how many people have found Christ because of him? It won’t hurt those who have.

  • Zorro3740

    A baby.

You know what is funny….the media are making fun of him for what he stands for and his public display of his love for his Lord and Savior and on the other hand you have some of these player whom are thugs on and off the field and that isn’t a big deal. I think Tebow is a good positive role model that all in professional sports should step back and reflect on.  Give the guy crredit for that!

Friends.. Tim in no way is a poser or a hypocrite…he is a sinner just like all of us, but yet he is a sinner saved by Grace..the Grace that is FREELY offered to each and every one of us because of Christ’s death on the Cross.  Jesus died for each and every one of us and salvation is only found in Him and through Him and His shed blood on the cross.  Those who mock Tim, mock the Lord Jesus Christ.  Many in the media and in the comments above and on other sites are so quick to judge and point the finger.  I posted this earlier on Facebook and this truly is what it is all about and you cannot argue what is stated.  I am praying for Tim and for his ministry and that many may come to know Jesus as a result of what the Lord is doing through him.  I am a sinner saved by Grace; I fail everyday, and I am so thankful for the Lord and for His mercy, grace, patience and love.

Excellent article below. I know many have an opinion of Tim Tebow and even want to see him “fail’. Never once has Tim made any of this succes about himself, but so many have made it all about him. He has always put the Lord and his coaches and teammates first. As a parent of young children, Tim Tebow is the kind of role model I want my children looking up to, to truly see that success is not a measure of how much money one has or what they are doing on the playing surface, but the character of person they are both on and off the field. Yeah, Tim’s playing style may be a little “unorthodox” to what we are used to seeing, but he indeed is a winner both on and off the field and his work ethic is second to none. No fault or blame can be placed on him that he ever “gave up”, “didn’t try” or “threw his teammates and coaches” under the bus. This article is really what it is all about and Tim knows that. He knows that football is not the be all-end all and he also knows that being a football player is not who he is…it is what he does. As a father and husband, I have so far to go in so many ways, but I must also keep pressing onward, to be the man that God has called me to be and to work at it with all my heart. Enjoy the game tomorrow night and yeah, I will be rooting for Tim and the Bronocs, but win or lose, it is o.k. and I have confidence that Tim, with God’s leading, will continue to be the example and role model that he has been to so many thus far.

Reilly: I believe in Tim Tebowespn.go.com. No, I’ve come to believe in Tim Tebow for what he does off a football field, which is represent the best parts of us, the parts I want to be and so rarely am

he is being made fun of because he is a horrible quarterback…there isn’t another quarterback with his stats that gets the media he does…which makes him get a whole lot more attention than warranted.  There’s a large number of people in this country that have a great deal of faith in their religion and they don’t have the microscope on them.  It’s just way over blown.

Mike is correct T. Jesus prayed in public as well in private. He prayed out to his father when on the torture-stake in front of a multitude of his fellow christians and non-christians.  Also, you know it is not a part of your duty to downgrade and belittle fellow-christians. You should not focus on Mike’s imperfectios, but rather your own. May God Bless you. AND Tim Tebow.:())

NICE, sixers83, Well said. I  am a father of an adolescent, and think that Tim is an excellent role model. I wish people would just stop criticizing and accept him for who he is,  An athelete who enjoys his profession and has a strong faith in Jesus Christ. Enough said. I will be rooting for the Broncos tonight because I’m a Broncos fan, Tebow or no Tebow. He is not our Savior, nor The Chosen One in my mind, just a quarterback who has an incredible ability to do what needs to be done to win. GO BRONCOS

Speaking of going too far?!!? Your judging a mans faith which if you REALLY do read the Bible, you know that’s a big NO NO…. I knew Tim and his whole family from missions when he was in High School and younger. He comes from a very respected and devoted Christian family who lives what they preach. Shame on you Eric

Hope Broncos can beat a better team. But Jesus never said anything because he is a fictional character. People have said many things about him but anyone who apears on the scene after 30 some years with no wife or family of his own would not be acceptable. Lets face it the fictional jesus was gay yet christians seem to be the ones against gays and equal rights. Isn’t religion a wonderful invention.

can  you back it up with scripture or assumptions.
    Mark 1:35
Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed.
    Luke 5:16
But Jesus often withdrew to the wilderness for prayer.
    Matthew 14 22-23
while he dismissed the crowds. After doing so, he went up on
the mountain by himself to pray.I guess you don’t know what you’re talking about.

The Savior took our sins on himself and bled for us in the Garden while his deciples slept.  He allowed himself to be crucified on the cross to set the stage for his next gift to us…resurrection.

Rather see Tim Tebowing then two “jigs” doing the watusi in the end zone after a score. Nothing more offensive then the antics of these Neanderthals

To the Playmates: Don’t pretend to be Godly when there is not a shred of Godliness in any of you. First find out what Godliness is, then and only then dare to bow to your creator. You can not copy TEBOW and think you are Godly. Till you understand the meaning behind being grateful, humble and, submisive to your creator, will you understand. If you did understand, you would’nt be a playmate. Life has a funny way of teaching you between rightiousness and sinfulness. Stop making a mockery of yourselfs. And YES, I am not one to judge, because I sure have had my share of mistakes/sins in my life and have paid and still paying for my willingness to do what I know is not right and acknowledged them in this growing process in my life. PLEASE, if you know the difference, be the example and not the follower.

Eric, Jesus never discouraged open prayer.  He did speak against the outward “showmanship” to demonstrate how pious they were. the Jews were committed to prayer three times per day and would stop whatever they were doing and wherever they were at to pray.  They Pharisees would deliberately place themselves on busy street corners at the time of prayer and would make a show of it. Jesus point was very clear – a humble heart coming before a mighty God WHENEVER you pray.  AND let your life be consistent when others are wathing and when no one is looking.  Tebow is human and suibject to errors in life, but his life is consistent on and off the field and is a great example and role model for others.  The only comment ever heard from Tebow about what He is praying on the field is, let it be for Your glory God.  Isn’t it amazing that if Tebow was just another party animal womanizer as far too many athletes and stars are…Tebow would not be such a hot topic because he is not a terrific quarterback. He would be considered “normal”  I, for one,  am glad he is not “normal”

  • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_DSP56GMKSS4QEZQTYG3T37ESK4 tyler

I have a suggestion… If you all are going to claim to be Christians I think that you shouldn’t be arguing like this but rather loving each other and approaching the problem with kindness…Also the pharisees wanted the attention which is the reason they prayed on the street corners that was the problem it was all about them… Tebow, though i can not tell you for sure, I’m of the opinion that he doesn’t do it for attention but rather to spend a moment with God, and mabe just thanks him for the oppurtunity to step out on that field; however, I will probably never know what Tim Tebow is actually praying about, nor will it do I care, that is between him and God. And Luke 1:10 says
“And the whole multitude of people were praying outside at the hour of the incense.”

Jesus prayed on the cross. Tebow has a right to excersise his religous
believe’s. The apposals prayed in public. There are times to pray in public and private.
