Knile Davis fantasy player to pick up after Jamaal Charles injury

Knile Davis

Looking to scoop up a running back following an injury during Week 2 of the NFL season? Knile Davis may be your man.

Jamaal Charles left Sunday’s game against the Broncos in the first quarter with an ankle injury. There’s been no determination yet on his status, but Davis came in and immediately carried the load for KC.

Davis, 22, was a third-round pick by the Chiefs last season out of Arkansas. He had 245 yards and four touchdowns on 71 carries as a rookie, which only measured out to a 3.5 yards per carry average. While he is much less talented than Charles, the running back in an Andy Reid offense often sees a lot of work running and catching the ball.

If the Jamaal Charles owner in your fantasy league was sleeping and failed to handcuff him with Davis, you should seriously look into swooping in and grabbing him.
