Chris Harris dealing with ‘weakness and pain’ in shoulder
Denver Broncos cornerback Chris Harris Jr. is expected to play in the AFC Championship Game on Sunday, but that does not mean he will be feeling nearly his best.
According to NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport, Harris has been getting constant treatment for what has been described as a deep-tissue shoulder bruise. While the injury is not one that will require offseason surgery, it has clearly been painful.
#Broncos CB Chris Harris will play, but his injury is not insignificant. It's a deep-tissue shoulder bruise that's caused 24-hour treatment

#Broncos CB Chris Harris won't need surgery on his shoulder, but he struggles to brush his teeth & play with his 2-yr old. Weakness & pain.

The Broncos have arguably the best defense in the NFL, and their cornerback duo of Harris and Aqib Talib is largely responsible for that. Against Tom Brady and the New England Patriots, they will obviously need all hands on deck.
If Harris appears limited early in the game, Brady has enough awareness that he will make a point to throw in his direction. That could play a big role in the game depending how Harris is feeling.
